Backwater Ripples
Located along the serene banks of Vembanad Lake, Backwater Ripples is one of Kumarakom’s most established lakeside wedding resorts. Spread across beautifully landscaped gardens with direct backwater access, the property combines Kerala heritage architecture with modern resort comfort. The venue offers a mix of villas, lake-facing cottages, and premium rooms, making it ideal for intimate to mid-sized destination weddings. Couples can host ceremonies overlooking the lake, Mehendi by the pool, and receptions in landscaped lawns or indoor banquet spaces. With houseboat experiences, Ayurveda spa treatments, and authentic Kerala cuisine, it delivers a true backwater wedding experience.
